We offer three levels of applications depending on your training interests and long-term ministry goals.

Application Process

Once you submit your application, the ministry school staff will review your qualifications and email you back within a week to confirm your acceptance and placement in the school's program.


Training Program Choice

We currently offer two Leadership Levels of training as describe on our Training Program page.   Choose the level you below you desire to apply for and complete the online form.

LEVEL 1 - Lead Self Program

This is the starting point for most School of Ministry students. Classes can be taken on Tuesday nights in San Jose, or online through our online program. Focus at this first level is personal discipleship and growth. Students are required to attend all Level 1 classes and assist in one of the Team Gateway support ministries on Sunday.

LEVEL 2 - Lead Others Program

This course of study is for those students who have completed LEVEL 1, or it's equivalent, and are ready for assignment to a ministry practicum for hands-on training as well as additional class intensives and coursework. Most hands-on practicums require leading a Life Group and learning how to raise up healthy disciples.

Individual Class - Self-Paced Study

Tuesday night classes 

You may take individual LEVEL 1 classes of your choice as they are offered at the Gateway San Jose campus.  Classes are held each Tuesday night during the school year from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
